Vaccinations

Meningitis B

Babies born on or after 1st July 2015 are eligible for a Meningitis B vaccine at 2 months, 4 months and 12 months on the NHS. There is also a catch up for babies born between 1st May and 30th June 2015 eligible for the vaccine.

Children who were born before 1st May 2015 are not eligible to be vaccinated under the NHS, however some private practices are offering this vaccine for a charge but due to high demand there is currently a supply shortage of the vaccine in Kingston and surrounding areas. Central Surgery is not a private practice so does not offer this vaccine.

Shingles

A shingles vaccination is available on the NHS for people in their 70s. It helps to reduce your risk of getting shingles. Please ask our nurses or receptionists if you are eligible for the vaccine from the NHS.

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/vaccinations/ will give you more information on all vaccinations available in the NHS. Some are free and some have to be paid for before receiving treatment.
