Electronic Prescription Service

Have you registered for the new Electronic Prescription Service?
The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) is an NHS service. It gives you the chance to change how your GP sends your prescription to the pharmacy you choose to get your medicines or appliances from.

If you normally collect your repeat prescription from the surgery, you won't have to visit the surgery to collect a paper script anymore. We can simply send your medication electronically to a pharmacy of your choice and they will receive it within minutes.

You can choose to nominate any pharmacy, not one that is necessarily close to the Practice, perhaps one that is close to where you work or shop may be more convenient. As your prescription is transmitted electronically to the pharmacy, your items should be ready to collect when you arrive provided you have allowed the statutory 48 working hours to process your prescription request.

If you would like to find out more about this service and nominate a pharmacy to use for this service, please download and print the Patient Nomination Request form below. Take the completed form to your chosen pharmacy who will register you for EPS and inform us.
