Travel Vaccinations

Under our contract with NHSE we offer the following travel vaccines for free to our registered patients;

Cholera

Hepatitis A

Polio

Typhoid 

It is very important that you request travel vaccinations as early as possible, prior to any planned travel dates to ensure appointments can be made in good time and to be aware that there are limited number of travel appointments available.  

When you make an enquiry with our Patient Advisor Team, you will be text a travel questionnaire to complete for each family member which you will need to return to us, so that we can check your immunisation history and make you an appointment with the right clinician.  

We do not offer rabies, yellow fever or any other private vaccines, however are aware that there are travel clinics and pharamacists in the local area who do offer this service privately you can enquire with.   

Private Work Fees

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

  • Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
  • Insurance claim forms
  • Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
  • Private sick notes

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability. The majority of our fees are listed below. 

Fees

In order to ensure we minimise the amount of private appointments where patients do not attend, or work is undertaken and not paid for, our Policy has been reviewed to fall in line with other surgeries.

 Please note that it is Practice policy to request payment for medical reports and assessments in advance.

 Therefore, please be advised that before a private appointment is made or private forms are completed, payment must be made in advance.

We will endevour to complete any medical report requests in 40 days.

Passport forms or photocards for driving licence

 Our GPs are not able to sign photographs confirming identity.  Please see the link below for a list of other options available to you:

Confirmation of address

The Practice does not provide letters to confirm your address as we cannot verify that you’re residing at the address on our records. We are able to provide a letter stating the date you registered with us and the address you have given us. There will be a £20 charge for this service.
