Central Surgery is a Training Practice

As an approved GP Training practice we usually have a GP Registrar in post and you may book appointments with him or her in the usual way.  A GP Registrar is an experienced doctor who has elected to undertake additional training to qualify as a GP.   Medical students frequently join us in the practice as part of their training. We believe that helping to educate and train the next generation of doctors is a very important part of our work.  However we are keen that no patient feels awkward or embarrassed by their presence. You will always be asked if you would mind a student sitting in on your consultation. We are always grateful when patients agree, but please feel no anxiety about saying “no”.

CQC rate us "Good" in all areas

We monitor, inspect and regulate services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety.  They publish their results and include performance ratings to help people choose care.  Central Surgery was inspected on 31st August 2016 and we were awarded a result of "Good" in all areas.
